The project will combine the strong points of two existing service robots: REEM and ROSE, add tele-operation technology and interactive object recognition and task learning skills to develop a new service robot for the care market that is: 1. Semi - autonomous 2. Robust 3. Low cost 4. Mature 5. Manufacturable 6. Functional The hardware and software will be developed, tested, demonstrated and validated in real care applications.
