Developing a Steerable robot-controlled multi-PurposE CaTheter for MRI guided vasculaR procEdures

SPECTRE will enable radiation-free remote-controlled catheterization with high resolution and high precision. We want to change the landscape of minimally invasive image-guided cardiovascular procedures by being the first to successfully introduce simple routine to MRI-guided balloon angioplasty, by developing a multi-purpose MRI conditional catheter controlled by a robot manipulator for real-time high resolution imaging, accurate positioning, greater stability and easier manipulation.
