This information session, organised by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), aims to inform SME specialists, network organisations, intermediary organisations, research institutions and funding advisors about the EU available funding instruments for entrepreneurs.

The agenda of the conference will focus on:

  • SME innovation stimulation Region and Top Sectors (MIT);
  • Knowledge Innovation Scheme (KEI)
  • Ambitions Innovation Accelerator (VIA)
  • Eurostars-2
  • The SME instrument;
  • Fast Track to Innovation (FTI)

The Northern Netherlands (SNN) performs the first three schemes for the region of North Netherlands. They aim to encourage various forms of innovation in SMEs.
The latter three schemes are designed for companies that want to work with innovative solutions in cooperation with foreign partners.

Eurostars, the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to SMEs, is a joint programme between EUREKA and the European Commission, co-funded from the national budgets of 36 Eurostars Participating States and Partner Countries and by the European Union through Horizon 2020.
In the 2014-2020 period it has a total public budget of €1.14 billion.
