This information session, organised by Innovation Centre Iceland, will provide insight about the Eurostars-2 funding and support programme for SMEs.
The workshop will be addressing all interested parties wanting to organise an international, market-driven, collaborative research project.
The workshop includes a full presentation of the program as well as an explanation of the criteria, procedures and related documents.
The agenda will include the following speakers:
- Snæbjörn Kristjánsson, EUREKA National Project Coordinator at Innovation Center Iceland.
- Helga Waage, Manager at Mobilitus Ltd., member of the Eurostars evaluation committee.
- Jón Már Björnsson, Head of Genetic Technology ORF Genetics hf., Eurostars project E! 10045 CYTOCAM.
- Snow Waldorff, project manager at Enterprise Europe Network in Iceland - EEN services for start-ups (SME's)
Deadline for the next Eurostars Call is March 2, 2017.
The Eurostars (www.eurostars-eureka.eu) Programme is a joint programme between EUREKA and the European Commission and the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to research-performing SMEs.
With a total budget of €1.14 billion, Eurostars stimulates them to lead international collaborative research and innovation projects by easing access to support and funding.
