The 4th EUROMED Invest Academy, organised by the Brussels Chamber of Commerce & Business Federation (BECI) with the coordination of the MedAlliance Consortium is entitled "Get a better knowledge of European Union and its instruments to support SMEs and investments in Mediterranean countries".
This workshop is focusing on the European Union and its institutions, their functioning and how to work with them to develop investments, trade and SMEs in the Mediterranean.
High-level EU-representatives, trainers on FDI-promotion, business support services and support for new entrepreneurs as well as lobbyists and international companies will attend the Academy in order to share their knowledge and experience.
Around 100 participants from Business Support Organizations from the Southern Neighborhood and the European Union will be selected to participate in the Academy.
This event will also be an opportunity to get information on EU relevant policies (EU neighbourhood policv, EU trade policy, rules of origin, European technical standards) and their implications for business as well as as how to access EU programmes for BSOs and SMEs.
Some information about Eurostars, the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to SMEs, will be available for the participants.
