This information session about the EUREKA Initiative and about the Eurostars-2, the first European funding and support programme to be specifically dedicated to SMEs will aim to inform the participants about the funding and support possibilities offered by all the EUREKA instruments, including Eurostars.
This event will be addressing all interested parties wanting to organize an international, market-driven, collaborative research project.
Furthermore, the structure platinn and the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation and the Permanent Mission of Belgium in Geneva, will show examples of collaborations in this particular context.
EUREKA is a publicly-funded, intergovernmental network, involving over 40 countries. EUREKA’s aim is to enhance European competitiveness by fostering innovation-driven entrepreneurship in Europe, between small and large industry, research institutes and universities.
Eurostars is a joint programme between EUREKA and the European Commission, co-funded from the national budgets of 34 Eurostars Participating States and Partner Countries and by the European Union through Horizon 2020. In the 2014-2020 period it has a total public budget of €1.14 billion.
